I have had the great fortune to combine my vocation with my avocation, leveraging my passion for education, exploration and enrichment in a way that has provided me with rich personal and professional opportunities and allowing me to support others on their life journey.
My early academic training and professional positions were in the areas of Finance and Strategy. I moved through positions of increasing scope and responsibility, earning an MBA and having the opportunity to support senior leaders while building my own teams. Witnessing the impact that strong leadership and engagement had on the success of corporate initiatives led me to supplement my business acumen and commercial curiosity with research in the area of organizational development, resulting in a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development.
Throughout my career in corporate positions and consulting, I have held adjunct professor roles with several universities, primarily at the graduate level. My passion for teaching, coaching, mentoring, and supporting leaders wherever they are on their development journey has been the most rewarding part of my career.
I have also enjoyed applying those skills to non-profit organizations in my community, serving as a Trustee at the Basilica of St. Mary and President of The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis. I have enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and to 100 countries. My travels often take me off the beaten path with a chance to immerse myself in the rich diversity of thought, actions, and traditions.
