A pilgrimage of faith and culture. Starting in Northern Ireland with time in Derry, Belfast, Giant's Causeway, the Titanic Museum and a pub or two. A ferry ride took us to the Scottish port of Cairnryan, with a short visit in Glasgow before heading to the beautifully rugged Highlands. Ended in Edinburgh with a side trip to St. Andrews. We were blessed with mostly clear skies as we toured churches, castles, ruins, and historical sites. As a side benefit, I enhanced my appreciate for Guinness and Scotch.
